All went well til it tried to connect to the mirror. I tried several mirror

Hello,
which server address have I to enter on installation?
I tried: http://ftp.ports.debian.org -> /debian-ports
But it didn’t work
Thanks in advance
looks to me as if the mirror uses something like rsync with
exclusion but doesn’t exclude the Contents and the new InRelease
file in the first run. It should use the ftpsync script, or at
least the minimum mirror requirements.

Hi
Just wondered if there is any gotcha's on mirroring the root-disk on
PowerPC (in particular with respect to yaboot etc) ??
or is it just straightforward as for X86 ??

Since your mac is a PowerPC-based mac, it won't work with Debian/m68k,
which can be used on m68k-based macintoshes only, i.e., those made
before 1995 or so.
