Hello!
It's my personal opinion that the xorg version lenny uses, still 7.2
and xserver v 1.3, are not useful and by far not up to date. i.e. no
dual screen with xrandr which simply doesn't work as it should with
that version of xorg.

I tried that as well...I have tried almost everything. I can't seem to figure
out what
the problem is. Maybe what I will do is reinstall Debian Etch and do a
dist-upgrade
to Lenny. I hope that works.
