After unmounting try:
eject /cdrom

My imac has no eject button. The command 'eject' does the trick.

i own a imac g3 700 with slot in CD-Rom. I want to install the aktual debian
distribution
and have downlöoaded 7 iso files. After i finished burning an start
installing the installation prog
want me to insert cd 2, but how ??
I cant get cd 1 out of the rom
