I recently downloaded the latest pre-compiled debian kernel from ppckernel.org (linux-bk-2.4-devel-2.4.26) and installed it according to the direction listed: gunzip linux-pmac-*.tar.gz tar xf linux-pmac-*.tar cd linux-pmac-* mv vmlinux /boot mv System.ma
