Thanks Chris, I know there is a powerpc driver for the adaptec card. I booted off of a YellowDog cd and was able to see my drives. I would prefer to run Debian if I can get it to install as I think the support, in general is better and this is going to be a server in a production environment. This

Hi all, I posted this a couple of days ago and haven't seen any replies yet. I am kind of deperate to get this solved. I have added a couple of additional pieces of information from a couple of things I tried since my first post. The machine is a Blue and White G3 (400MZ)Server with 896 MB of RAM.
