Grzesiek,
Evolution is currently broken because it is now linked against
both gtk/glib 1.2 and 2.0 due to the introduction of the new
gnome 2.0 based gnome-pilot.

Attempts to fix the problem with killev, oaf-slay or bonobo-slay
failed. In the end I think it may have been a gconfd thing but I can't
be sure now. (The error message from Evolution seemed to be related to
a configuration database or something, I cannot fully recall now).

Apt (unless configured differently) stores an archive of downloaded
packages in the directory "/var/cache/apt/archives". In here I found
the two packages I needed to roll back:
evolution_1.2.4-1.1_powerpc.deb
libcamel0_1.2.4-1.1_powerpc.deb
To install them:
dpkg -i libcamel0_1.2.4-1.1_powerpc.de
Hey John,
Perhaps you could let me know what is the best way to rolled back to older
version? I'd like to do that too until the situation is resolved.
Thanks.

Hi,
I've had the same since last week. For the time being, I've just rolled
back to the last version (and the last version of libcamel).
I wonder if the glib libraries have undergone some "Algorithmic
Complexity Attack" protection work :)
