are there other packages using cairo,
(that is display rendering i believe better
than apples quartz supposed to be but
previously unavailable to me somewhere
else, a grayed out option, i can't recall
where)
also to possibly check if the bugs are in there
or in the 3d stuff ???

Hi there list,
as soon as I noticed Compiz in Debian repositories I couldn't help trying
it out on my iBook G4.
I have edited my xorg.conf and added the Option "XAANoOffscreenPixmaps" in
the Device section, added the "Extensions" section, restarted X and then
started compiz with:
$ gtk-window-de
