Indeed. My patch makes this necessary correction, but I admittedly
hadn't delved into the headers once I got to the getopt() man page.
The man page states nothing about EOF, just that -1 was the
terminating return value. I

Hmm, the binary 2.1-3 is dates Sep 22. So I use 2.1-3. And it still hangs. I
will try building it myself.

It's 2.1-3 that has the fix, not 2.1-2. If the binary isn't there yet, build
