I'm a bit confused about the includes.
If fbcon_cfb16.c has #include

then, can fbcon_cfb16.c call functions in lowlatency.h?
thanks in advance.

Any ideas on how to do this, or any other ways around it?

Damn. I'll go searching though, since in Japan, they seem to keep old

Any possibility of reconditioning the battery?

You'll need the package "kernel-package".

Yep. I think the fbdev device is kind of restricted. So use the
"r128" Driver, with the "UseFBDev" Option.
Good luck!

Is there a way to turn down the volume of the keyboard bell? 'Cause it
is LOUD, especially when you have headphones on.
I don't mind editing and recompiling the kernel, if that's what it
takes.
This is under dma_sound.

The bootloader stuff is a bit different from PCs, but besides that,
I've had no problems switching from PC's to PowerPCs. Read the
installation guide, especially that part about partitions, and
bootloaders. Besides that, I think
hing similar, like using
CDparanoia and piping the output to the sound device.
Hope that helps.

Along with what others have said, you had better make this
partition=4
to match with your root directory. Nothing sucks worse than having
ybin install but not boot your kernel. Trust me. ^_^
