in the kernel, you have to check that you want to support
CONFIG_MSDOS_PARTITION=y
and then it will work? ...
at least if you see the device but can't mount it.

i was able to find it in the openfirmware, but then i could not access
the "disk" properly (some error after timeout)

partitions. tmp might fill up especially in a testing (sarge), dist and
that might lock up your root filesystem. then login into X might get

try with a stron light against the display. do you see in schemes what
