Problems with one iMac

I've problems to boot one iMac grafit G3 400, to instal debian, with the Debian 2.2rev3 potato cd, also with de Suse 7.1 cd.None of both run in the iMac, but I,ve install in mi iBook both distributions without problems, if someone can help me Thanks fistro@

Thaks for all. I' ve just start with yaboot , I only change one line in my yaboot.conf partition=4 and run mkofboot then I run ybin and OK.I can boot without cd. More Problems: I want to complile one kernel for the ibook, it's necesary one patch?.I've compile much kernels for i386,but never for ppc

'm lost,because I can't start Debian with one bootloader, I only can start with the Debian CD as a bootdisk. The Keys for start without MAC extensions are??? Tanks fistro@
