Maybe some embedded folks? Up to you whether you'd like us to try to change
this upstream as well, I'm happy to chip in if so.
Hope this helps,

We should be applying the same criteria and process for all the
other filesystems that are orphaned, too. We need to much more
proactive about dropping support for unmaintained filesystems that
nobody is ever fixing despite the constant stream of
corruption- and deadlock- related bugs reported against them.

OSX ever did dynamic.
When it went dynamic I think the AGP bits had some problems with
coherency of the GART tables that we never figured out.

What is the output of the ‘file’ command on the original unmodified binary and
also on the modified binary? Can you send along the results for both? Thanks!

You may remember that the debian end of things was looking OK and so
the lack of a "\" key in Open Firmware was thought to be a symptom
that may lead to the cause of the boot failure.
Well I put a request for help with Open Firmware on the Apple

That's interesting. How exactly did you get it to do that?
Do you hold the Alt (Option) key and then press F2?

Please read the g77 manual and its references about floating point and
IEEE arithmetic conformance. It even had physicist input --
computational scientists need to understand the issues.
Please don't follow up to all these lists. I doubt debian-sparc,
where I'm reading it, cares.
