While digging through d-i, I've noticed some signs of ppc64 port
(which was, as far as I remember, a heroic attempt to make a 64-bit
userland Debian port).
Do we actually need it and is anybody going to support/maintain it?

I used to boot my Powerbook G4 just fine with USB CD drive. The only
problem was to find a correct device path in the OF device tree.
Otherwise, you should be able to netboot easily -- the setup is quite
well documented on the web.

Checking the arch requalification wiki page, I've noticed that powerpc
port is "at risk", partly because of just 2 maintainers mentioned.
Is that true, and if it is, who are those two brave guys? ;)
As I use the port extensively, I'd surely like to help.
