You can boot to it with no problems...just add
macosx=/dev/hdbX (where X = partition where OS X is installed)
to your /etc/yaboot.conf then /usr/sbin/ybin and your set.
As far as reading and writing to it...that's
there is a way to
install it so that I can keep the partitions and data intact but still read and
write to it from debian and also maybe boot into os x on it once in a while too.
Any help or links would be appreciated.

y to install the .deb of alsa-modules. It starts
complaining that it needs alsa-base. However when I install alsa-base it
complains that it needs the alsa modules installed). Wondering if anyone has
had a similar problem.
