Thats for your help. I couldnt get any key combination to work, so in the
end I used loadkeys to map it manually to q.
Any of you using a DSL internet connection on an iMac incidentally?

I've got PC share switched on. Does MacOS write everything with an 8 Char

I'm also stumped trying to do a Debian install on a PowerPC with the .iso
file downloaded via ftp. The disk image simply looked wrong - some bad file
extensions and 0 K files. I DID manage get it to work up to a point using a

an imaclinux site in .sit format, and therefore doesnt rely on DiskCopy.
Maybe I could do this job with an alternative to DiskCopy. The instructions
say that Toast can do it directly. I couldnt figure out how. I can only burn
a copy of the .iso file.

I've got yaboot to run off a CD I burnt from a downloaded .iso file but it
cant load its config file cos its called "yaboot.con" instead of
"yaboot.conf"??? Is my file corrupted?
Some of the files on the image have size 0k is this also normal?. I cant
