iMac G3 Video Problem

Hello, A few days ago i installed Debian 5.0 on an iMac with a 500mhz G3 processor. After installation the machine rebooted but once it had finished booting there is nothing visible on the screen. During installation I had no problem with the video. Any ideas of what could be the problem? Thanks!
