everything should work fine. You should be able to get characters as
you use to under MacOS X. As a matter of fact, I did not even know how to
do that as I come from the PC world. There is a text file that provides
this information but I can't figure out where I found it (if anyone knows,
parts) and it's up. Can't really say whether the packages are
actually there (I can't get xlibs-dev 4.3 for now, only 4.2 though I found
it in the packages description on the server) but I had problems figuring
out how to put an EXPERIMENTAL line in my sources.list at the very
