found.
I've googled and grepped. No solid result.
So I'm asking here. If wvdialconf can't do it, can I? To what should I
ln -s the modem?

I've recently installed potato on this powerbook 1400, using the nubus 2.4.1
kernel + installer. X worked fine out of the box on this model.
There was general conflict raging between dselect, apt and tasksel and
the potato disks. When I upgraded to woody yesterday a number of
packages
I recall seeing a message on the m68k list some time ago, from someone who
got debian-powerpc running on a pb1400cs using some combination of the
mklinux installer and the debian-powerpc base files.
Is this true? Are there any success stories? Or is my memory distored by
wishful thinking?
