Hi,
I'm now just a mouse and quik away from having (seemingly) everything
working on my 7200. I must say, it has been a pleasure beginning to
pick up Debian.
I'm a little stuck trying to get the mouse working, though.
gpmconfig won't offer ADB mice as an option, so I tried configuring
it manual

This did exactly the trick. Many, many thanks to all
who helped.
Matthew.

125Mb Root
125Mb Tmp
500Mb Var
2Gb Usr

And there was the (I think) 32Kb pa
Hi,
Thanks to help from this list, I now have my Mac booting
and starting the installer (via BootX).
My next problem is that the kernel doesn't seem interested
in recognising the partition table that I create on the
disk.
I followed Ethan Benson's instructions and partitioned the
4Gb disk that I

And if, as I explained, I can't get TCP working, what do
I try?
Matthew.
Hi,
As advised on the list, I have acquired a cheap second disk
for my Mac. And I've tracked down a working keyboard. Which
sounds great.
However, it seems that my MacOS installation is somewhat
broken -- I can't get TCP working, and I don't have anything
like Expander, so I'm not sure how to g
Hi,
I've just acquired a cheap Mac (7200/90) for the purpose
of running Debian.
It seems to work OK, but only has a 700Mb disk which I
very much doubt will be enough for both for both Debian
and MacOS. So, it would appear that my choices are:
* buy another disk, or
* dump MacOS
