I wrote a few days ago and asked a few questions,
everyone was very helpful. And I appreciate it!
I have a couple of new questions:
1) I tried to get xmms working, and it needed my audio device
path. The default is /dev/dsp which fails (more /dev/dsp returns no device
I use Linux (recently debian, used to be linuxppc)
almost exclusively. When I need to view a
word doc, I fire up mac-on-linux.
This may be changing with an announcement on penguinppc.org
that the star office port is "finished."
My wife, however still prefers the mac interface.

I just installed the stable branch onto
my aging Performa 6400. This was a
move that was planned for a long time,
