This sort of thing is probably received all to frequently but...
I'm running stable and I have xfs-xtt running and I've apt-got
msttcorefonts but when I start X with the truetype directory in the
XF86Config file I get
'could not open default font fixed'
which sort of puts a spoil to my plans.

I upgraded X to 4.1 (unstable) on my iMac from my stable install and now
on boot the mouse doesn't work and when X is restarted the screen doesn't
show anything (although the computer chuggs along as usual).
Would be most grateful for any help.

Hmm no, still doesn't work. Thanks very much for trying. Maybe if you've
had better luck you could put the kernel and modules somewhere that i can

It may be that it only afects certain types of iMac as other people seem
to have sound working. Someone mentioned an endian problem, is there a
way to change the endianess it expects maybe?
