now I have to redo the xserver can someone refresh my mind on that again?

Is there a patch or fix to allow these devices (keyspan USA18HS) to work
with the 2.6.xx kernels?
I set it up on an i586 machine with debian 3.1 and it works fine!

Does anyone know how many processors are supported on Power 5 SMP machines

So, I've already tried the obvious - to remove those packages, and same
thing. Does anyone else here have Blender? Does it run on your machine?

I have successfully mounted my pesky osx drive, and can navigate with the
hfsplus utils. My only problem is in copying - I can copy one file at a
time, but If I do someting like
hpcopy Documents /home/jim/macbackup
I get a mess
some potential issues with the OSX installer overwriting
bootstrap partitions, etc.
Any help ot additional tips on recovering my data greatly appreciated...

saying that in general, Starmaxes rule. The one in question has a 200 MHz
604 - better AFAIK than most of the other machines.
