'll d/ld 2.4.20-ben10 tonight, hopefully usb mouse and keyboard support will have been built-in so i can temporarily plug in a us english keyboard. It's no fun trying to work w/o symbols such as greater/lesser than, pipe etc. -- jean-michel

most certainly a silly question but /etc/debian_version says : 2.2 and /var/log/gdm/:0.log and /var/log/xdm.log say : Operating System: Linux 2.4.0-test13-pre2 ppc [ELF]. which one is it ? do i care ? (i'm considering moving from potato to woody and wondering which kernel to install, 2.2 or 2.

system does not boot

Hi, I am installing Debian GNU/Linux Potato on an old mac. I instaled the base system and then rebooted the system in order to continue the install. Unfortunately, the system does not boot and just show a floppy with a question mark. Any clue ? Thanks, JM -
