I cannot success with the openfirmware 2.0.1 for booting directly into my linux
partition and stop using BootX
ofpath /dev/hda9
says
/pci/mac-io/ata0/[EMAIL PROTECTED]:9
but either value I put into boot-device it says "cannot boot"
what to chek ?

the same behaviour with XkbModel setup as macintosh/es
so for now my only solution is the bogus six Xkb options.
my computer is a 1998 powerbook g3 (I guess a Wallstreet II) with its own
spanish keyboard.

now I want to get my X supporting spanish keyboard maps and also kbd or
console-tools
console-tools powerppc currently only supports us, de, and fr keymaps.
could you explain-me where could I get the info for make these keyboard maps ?

im on an oldworld powerbook g3 and -ve setup X with frame buffer device and
seems to works nice, exept that applications complains about not founding color
names.
and with tcl tk applications is impossible to get it right, example:

I'm putting debian on an oldworld powerbook g3
now just installed kernel 2.4.4 but then quik doesn't found initrd and
it
says
kernel panic: unable to mount root
and kernel 2.2.19 boots ok
so what should I put on quik.conf in order to get ok with initrd ?
with append="fake_initrd" doesn't works

I've put creator code CDr3 and type iImg using FileBuddy on a macos 8.6

then using Toaster 4.2 I've burned the cd.
