I think that it is a very nice idea to construct buildd instances.
If it is not a problem that I am not a DD,
I can help to set-up and maintain buildds.

According to binutils, opcodes of e5500 is added to ones of Book E, a
ure out if I can do something (i.e. do you need acces to a porterbox,

I want to construct a ppc64 porterbox chroot on partch.debian.org (a POWER7
machine),
if recommendation from DD and recognitions are obtained.

OK.
I will try
to be built packages with Altivec option as default,
unless package maintainers specify build options.
If buildlogs till now are helpful, please refer to them.

Hi, All.
I am a ppc64 porter, Hiroyuki Yamamoto.
Because ppc64 port is NOT a official port yet,
please DON'T report to official BTS the bugs which have NOT a relation to the
packages AT ALL,
and which have a relation ONLY to porting to ppc64 port,
Instead, please report to this debian-po
ckages as unstable.
except for libx11 (#613820), gcc-defaults (#668861), hdf5 (#670266) and mono
(#651664)
package which are behind in correspondence of FTBFS.

Hi,
I am planning to restart the ppc64 porting project using the debian-ports
project in the near future.
I want the ppc64 port to be joined to the official by the time debian will be
released.
How about this plan?
Regards,
