blem I have here is that the sound comes out of the built-in
iMac speakers as well as the external speakers. Perhaps the mp3blaster
website has an answer to that one.

Armed with the new knowledge that it is yaboot and I have been typing
yahboot I had another go in Open Firmware.
I made very sure I typed "boot hd:2,yaboot" this time, and I waited,

release onto my Rev A 233MHz iMac from CD-ROM.
As far as I can tell the actual install proceeds normally, then at
the end when I agree to make the system bootable I am asked to remove
the CD-ROM (which I do), and am rewarded
