I'm looking for 8 DB9 ports for my StarMax PPC box... runs Linux. I have
a 4port ISA card for my PC but obviously that won't work in my PPC. 2
4port cards would be fine. Anyways, any suggestions as to what boards
are good and supported by Linux would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I'm trying to get my StarMax 4400 (OF 2.02) to like yaboot. Simply can't
get it to work. Since it is not a "New World" Mac 90% of the
documentation is not quite right.

I used the latest from
openrock.net/debian/dists/potato/main/disks-powerpc/2.2.8-2000-03-08/powermac
as of 3/17/00 around 10pm PDT. They are dated 3/8. I may have tried the
same tree from ftp.us.debian.org too (one of the IPs)... don't remember.

I'm frightened to think what installing Debian on an Alpha is going to
be like. Makes the Debian i386 installs feel like a nice back massage :)
