Unless the kernel dmesg logs are lying, the Powermac G5 (11.2) uses the
SMU and the Powermac G5 (7.2) uses the PMU.

option was required for your machine. So we are making progress!
Unfortunately, it seems that i didn't include the windfarm_pm72 driver
in the kernel build.

The kernel works for me. I'm emailing you from the computer now. The fans
unfortunately persist in their loudness, but the kernel is booting. I've
