Everything does work correctly but the grahic card has some
issues with KMS, gallium ... but everything was OK with squeeze (with
2.6.32 kernel)
On squeeze, I've got DRI with radeon.agpmode=-1

If your question is about the status of NVidia drivers on the PPC
plateform, I can tell you that my Quad G5 had always worked fine first
with the nv drivers, then with the Nouveau drivers sin

Have a look here, you will lots of xorg.conf files I collected over the
years. What I found out is that nouveau does not work well, but the old
nv driver works fine for nvidia cards:
