I tried booting the same disc on a PowerMac G4 (mirrored door) and got a white screen. But the same thing happened with Ubuntu. Are there any issues with yaboot & this system and/or the Radeon 9000 Pro card that shipped with these units? I guess I should search the list archive, eh? ;) -Gary -

I tried this on the same G5 with mostly the same results. I've archived /var/log/* and /etc/yaboot conf here: http://ftp.extensis.com/ppc/logs/ I will give a quick try on a G4 next so if you see additional files with today's date/time stamp then that is what they're from. -Gary -- To UNSUBSCRI
