This powerpc user would rather not see powerpc dropped from the netinstall disk
but accepts that it may be the time to do it in the interests of the much
larger number of x86 based hardware in the wild.

You might want to try to load the windfarm_core module
modprobe windfarm_core
you can add windfarm_core to /etc/modules
