Hello!
I own an iBook 2.2 running debian testing and I would like to connect it
per WLAN to my WLAN router using WPA(2) encryption.
Recent web search suggest that this would be in priciple possible but
the wpasupplicant package does not have support for the orinoco chipset
used by the iBook WLAN

Package: debian-installer
Interestingly enough, though I first discovered this on the "powerpc"
it's not unique to the "powerpc" -- the same thing seems to be
happening for "i386".
Looking at the DebianInstaller/FAQ - Debian Wiki question 29 takes us

Hi
I have an iMac G5 and trying to get the fan controller working.
I've complied the latest kernel possible from kernel.org
(2.6.17-rc6-mm2), even applying the hotfix patch at
http://kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/akpm/patches/2.6/2.6.17-rc6/2.6.17-rc6-mm2/hot-fixes/git-powerpc-fix.patch
