My ibook freezes when I want to use the _lateast_ bcm43xx/devicescape
driver for 2.6.16.
It freezes after the commands:
modprobe bcm43xx_d80211
echo -n "sta0" > /sys/class/ieee80211/phy0/add_iface
ifconfig wlan0.11 up
(I see in syslog

Forwarding my follow-up to bug 356933: since this was reported on a
package which no longer exists, my follow-up went to the BTS but not
to debian-kernel.
Bug 358816 appears to be another report of the same problem.

That's per design, and was done to fix bug #30432
I am using Debian testing on a PowerBook G4 667 MhZ (DVI). So far, it's been
going very nicely.
mouseemu 0.15-2 is installed, and I want to configure for the single-button
