Thanks,

Using the latest testing Debian PPC netinstall, loading onto a brand-new
( but NOT dual core ) Dual-proc 2.0 PowerMac.
I get a failure to install the yaboot loader.
NOTE: I have no Mac OS X - these are fresh disks.
I have tried:
Many different partitioning schemes- including 'guided'

My original patch is still work in progress and was intended as a starting
point if someone was already adept with the trackpad stuff and was willing to
help.
(Basically it was a call for help - nothing for end users ;)

Hi,
This seems a very good solution for the current problem. One thing I
would add would be software suspend support. Alsa seems to have
trouble resuming if the state is different from when it was
suspended-to-disk, headphone detection seems to be wrong, volumes
mixed up etc.
I'm afraid I can't h

Hi,
I use only CONFIG_FONT_6x11=y for setting console font in 2.6.14, It works.
But It doesn't work with 2.6.15-rc2, so I add two console fonts for
kernel 2.6.15-rc4
CONFIG_FONT_8x16=y
CONFIG_FONT_6x11=y
CONFIG_FONT_7x14=y
The kernel boots with the vga 8x16 font.
Is there a option in yaboot.conf

There's a rootdelay=nn option since 2.6.12 or .13. Therefore, an initrd
is no longer required. This works for sure with IEEE1394 (Firewire)
disks, but should als
