I installed the patch: rivafb-2.6.9-fix-mode-switch-and-nv30.diff It works great. I am very happy with the way I can turn off and dim the backlight. The only thing that seems to be missing is that it complains when I try to change the depth. fbset -depth 16 It complains that I don't have enou
