I just built the 2.6.3 kernel from souce.mvista.com. Everything went
fine, I installed it, ran ybin and rebooted. Then the fun started,
while booting, it locked on the open-pic: exit line. The same problem
that arose when I tried building the 2.6.
Ok, while trying to get ALSA to work on my system, something has caused a
conflict that freezes my computer on startup. It freezes while loading the
mouse module. Is there some boot parameter I can use in order to get into my
system and fix this. I dread having to reinstall again.
Thank you

I have a Pismo (bronze keyboard, FireWire and USB, no SCSI), and PCMCIA
works fine. What does your /etc/default/pcmcia look like?
My /etc/pcmcia/config.opts is as follows:

I need to install the linux-2.4.24-ben1 kernel for the iMac CRT, which
I think could fix my display problems. However, how is such an install
done?
Thanks a million.

Hello!
Since upgraded to blender 2.32 my xserver crashes on invoking blender.
(I reported that as a critical bug#234062 against blender, but was told by
the maintainer that it should'nt be blender's bug because this
behaviour wasn't detected on a lot of other boxes.)
What I see on my screen a
Hi all,
I've build 2.6.4-rc1 out of the box from kernel.org. No probs at
all. Thers is a new driver hfsplus available. To test it I mountet
a OSX partition with no probs. Just
mount -t hfplus /dev/hd(hfplus) /mnt
Its is read- and writeable. I copied some movies and oggs to a
testdir created at /
After reinstalling the Debian system for PPC, the problem with the left
edge not displaying on my iMac screen has returned. It appears the
display mode set by Debian is just a hal-pixel off, because I can see
the right half of the left-most character. In other words, all along
the left edge of

Hi all.
I've had some non reproducable kernel oopses on my Apple 15" AlPB.
There is a SMC2835W wifi card running with the drivers from prism54.
Ok, I compiled in the latest ones into the 2.6.3-ben(1|2) kernels
and had no problems with the card itself but some kernel oopses. So
I figured out the 2.

Rivafb is broken in 2.6.3. It works with some patches in 2.6.2 and
2.4.2X.

Hey folks.
I have debian sarge installed on my 12 inch powerbook, and am using
Linux 2.6.3-ben2 kernel. I have a few questions that hopefully some
people on this list will be able to help with.
I'm no stranger to Debian or Linux on PPC, as I used to run Debian on my
old iBook without problems.
