ibm has a working ppc j2re implementation: just download the .tgz for
pSeries. I've been running IBMJava2-SDK-141.ppc.tgz for some months now.

It's 1Mb compressed iirc, and it contains OF along with the OF
F-code drivers for the built-in hardware.

What is this driver from hell ? You are running a driver for
some legacy x86 junk that is tapping random IO ports, that's

and use the kernel package utils to compile the modules like this:
go to /usr/src/linux and run this:
make-kpkg modules_image
That should then compile all of the external modules.
