I'm running Debian Sid on my Apple "Pismo" Powerbook G3 Firewire.
I'm trying to get hardware-accelerated OpenGL working. The Powerbook
comes with an ATI Rage 128 Mobility M3, 66 MHz AGP 2x (rev. 02) bus
and the card has 8 MB SDRAM. Standard 1024x768 display.

The closets I have gotten to getting the box to boot was with a
zImage.chrp-rs6k file. It would boot (using boot net: or boot floppy), then

device.
So, Yes, if you could build me an image that will boot the system, that

Running 2.4.22-ben2 for a few days now, I just realized the backlight
keys (F1/F2) do not work on console anymore. Is that known/intended ?
I'm also having a little freeze (up to 2s) while launching XEmacs,
which is something I never experienced on Linux :( and I've got plenty
of RAM...

I would say you just boot your current system with the parameter
'init=/bin/bash', then do an fsck of the root fs, remount the root
parition read-write and try to fix it.
Now that sounds a _lot_ easier : you'll

We haven't got a boot selector yet. The environment can point to
exactly one partition for booting, and if I've read it right it will
load the first file on that - it has to be a PReP partition, and since
it doesn't have a filesystem I guess there's only ever one file.

Hi all...
I just realized that the daily updatedb run caused this 1G Ti 15"
powerbook to swap (with just some apps open under X).
And then I saw that XFree is taking 1.5G virtual memory and 800M Res :-(
