As far as I can tell, most of the posters agree that there's no specific "cause." Some think it was just a bad batch of logicboards that Apple got. There may be a bad capacitor, or solder somewhere that wears down with use and time. That may be why the iBook works fine for 10 months, then wo

The mac keyboard works without problems (here). I have a powerbook and the AltGr key it's Fn + alt With a flat imac (usb keyboard) the AltGr key is the right Alt key It works with XFree and console and it's the default configuration. My Xfree keyboard config is like the one for a PC, model pc105
