Hi,
When I attempt to run eject /dev/cdrom (as root) I get:
eject: unable to eject, last error: Input/output error
My yaboot.conf has line:

and lsmod returns:

I'm curious if m3mirror is the program I need to fiddle with to get
video out of the 1/8 inch headphone/video jack on my iBook. I have a
Rage128 video board, and had to reboot into MacOS to present a
presentation...
Does m3mirror only work for the VGA out port? or does it work for the

I am trying the nearly-suspend/resume stuff now that it has the blessing
(kind of) of Ben and that ATI sucks. I have tried the patch against
2.4.20-ben1 and the no-patch-needed 2.4.21-pre3-ben0 and get nearly the

cpp-2.95, perl, perl-base, libstdc++2.10-glibc2.10

Kind regards, Roland

I accidentally left my iBook in sleep mode while away and the battery
ran out of juice. When I booted up the machine again, the keyboard is a
bit messed up in X, but not in the console. In X, 'z' and 'y' have been

I was wondering what options (if any) there are for editing movies I've
made on a camcorder and then burning them on a DVD with my iBook under
Debian. Provided I need more disk space, I could, of course, save to
external drives on a network, and provided there is no external DVD
burner for my
