The latest prerelease of 4.1.0 .debs is now available at the X Strike
Force repository (see the URL in my .sig).
Binary .debs are available for i386, ia64, powerpc, and sparc.
I forgot to add ia64 to the architecture list for the osmesa library
packages, but this code did compile successfully, so

I found what was wrong with my setup ... I tried:
apt-get remove netatalk
apt-get install netatalk
But it would not install as it could not find the /etc/init.d/netatalk
from the previous install (as I removed it as I messed it up). What I
had to do was to:
apt-get remove netatalk

Hey Folks,
I was wondering if someone could tell me which package contains the
startup scripts in /etc/init.d ? I messed up my netatalk script
without first making a backup and I would like to get that script
back.

There is some stuff on penguineppc.org. Also, for XF86, I am guessing that
I should check their website for compatibility or for a server?

Hey folks,
Can someone take a look at bug #67289[1] and tell me if it's still valid,
and, perhaps, provide a bit more of debugging info? I don't have PowerPC
boxes to test this myself.
Here is a summary of the bug:

Hello everyone,
I've looked through the archives about this, but didn't get a definitive
answer to this question, and besides, for me it's actually a little more
complicated than that: I know I have at least a right (or center?) mouse
button, because when I push the command key, I can move win
Hello everyone,
I'm running woody, and I just updated everything a few minutes ago, so I've
got the latest of whatever there is...Anyway, X crashes, or seems to crash
when I log out of KDE. I will logout, and get a black screen that will only
show the login dialog -- so maybe kdm is crashing? -
I have been using the latest benh kernels on
my snakebite (G4 533 dual) powermac however
modules do not seem to work. Even if I try to
load modules manually using insmod, they don't
"insert". When I do an lsmod no modules show.
I even compiled and installed the latest modutils.

What package has gnome-config? I can't seem to find it. Thought it would
be in libgnome-dev, but it isn't.
Also, in general, is there a way to search UNinstalled packages for a
specific file?
