Hello,
I have been faced with the same error messages starting X regardless of
the changes suggested by this list. I am running 2.4.3-pre6 kernel from
the linuxppc.org ftp site on debian unstable. I have had the problem with
X 4.0.2 and I just upgraded to 4.0.3 from branden's site and I still get

I can now use GMixer after installing the BenH kernel I built a few days
ago (2.4.4pre3), which I was not able to do with the prior (also
BenH) kernel (2.3.3) I had installed.
Ben, thanks again for keeping the new hardware support coming thick &
fast!

It's good enough to run BootX! That's all I use mockos for.

Hi,
I'm trying to set up a blue g3 that has an xclaimvrpro reported like
this from the kernel:

Hi,
told my pismo (kernel 2.4.2-pre1)
echo 1 > /proc/sys/dev/mac_hid/keyboard_sends_linux_keycodes

not able to do anything.
Is it possible to pass the kernel the argument
"keyboard_sends_linux_keycodes=0" ?

Don't worry about this message, it's harmless (unless you get something
different than -1 or -2 as the value).
It's a kind of debug stuff I added to check that the CPU wouldn't miss
a DEC interrupt when put in NAP mod

You can move the pointer with the keyboard under XFree86.
Hello,
I've just installed the last debian distrib on a 7200/90, and I can't
get the mouse moving.
I have a standard mac mouse connected to the keyboard. It works fine
under MacOS.
I've used the XF86Config.FBdev proposed by the installer. It has created
a link from /dev/mouse to /dev/adbmouse w
You're saying it goes to sleep for you automatically when you close
the lid (i.e. not by typing snooze -f in X)?
Yes, I'm running pmud 0.7 (using the deb from unstable)
If so, what did you have to change in /etc/power/pwrctl (or
elsewhere)?
Comment out all the stuff in the Core99 function.

just an upgrade. (That's what I thought, myself, and what the w
