Current report is as follows...
Changing the Fireball from id 1 to 0 made Mac OS boot from the device
so I can get into BootX. I tried to rewrite the partition table with
fdisk again, and this time got:
Kernel panic: Exception in kernel pc c0205a90 signal 4
Rebooting in 180 seconds

Hello,
It has been reported that the new version 4.0.2 of XFree includes
the accelerated server for the ATI chip. I am running this version
on a Lombard, booting with yaboot and using the new input layer.
The funny thing is that there are man pages for r128 and all other
drivers except for

Hi - please forgive me for a non powerpc question!
I'm looking for Linux network analysis software for our little company
which has a flat LAN with about 100 users running on Ethernet and Bay
switches. Is there anything I should have a look at?
Thanks for any help

man mkisofs (1.13 from woody):
HFS BOOT DRIVER
It may be possible to make the hybrid CD bootable on a
Macintosh.
So what is the current solution for configuring the networking of a PowerMac
running debian/unstable (kernel version 2.2.17) from a DHCP server?
I used to use (actually still do) dhcpcd (1.3.17p12-8), but that seems to
have been removed (dselect says it is obsolete). I'm trying to do a new

Last week I decided to install XFree86 4.x. Since it was still in unstable at
that time (it arrived in woody the day after :-), I upgraded part of my stuff
to unstable. While my intention was to keep using the 3.x server, Debian
decided to make the 4.x server the default without asking me: /etc/X1
