not installed yet. My console is now able to "beep!". I installed cdtool.
When I try to play a cd, I can heard the cd spinning, but no sound come to

in console it goes completely black, as if the screen is no longer backlit
(or aty least not as much (the apple on the back of the screen is not

You can also use wmapm, as long as you have apm compatibility in pmud
(an option, I don't remember where...)
There's a command-line option for wmapm to tell it which fifo to use, and
you can tell it to use /etc/power/apm.
