helping, but he's never set up a PPC. We can't seem to get the hard drive
to be bootable. We followed the new world YaBoot procedure to no avail. I
have the hard disk fully devoted to Linux, with the Apple_Bootstrap a

Yes, it is. See the thread "compiling atlas

Actually, I realize that; however, it is not in xutils-4.0.1-8.
dpkg -L xutils | grep mkfont proves this, and yes I am sure
I do indeed have 4.0.1-8 installed.. am I the only one this has

Yes. My pismo runs X4.0.1.
I grabbed 4.0.1 DRI binaries that Michel Danzer posted a month
back. They have worked fine for me.

And if it's the r128 driver that fails, the ati_drv.o file won't help you.

Hi,
I'm trying to compile Atlas-3.0 on my iBook running Debian 2.2.
The optimisation option -funroll-all-loops cause a memory leak that fill my
swap when compiling the file muladd.c . Is it a known bug in gcc (2.95.2)?
Thanks!

Do you mean the bug that it blanks the screen even when you're in console? You
should be able to get
The instructions are incomplete. I think I want the openfirmware commands

Openfirmware" has been left blank, because it has not been written yet. I
do
not have a floppy disk drive. Any help would be appreciated.

Now, usually, I wouldn't have trouble setting up X (I've done it

The speakers should also work with either any recent 2.4 kernel or a recent

I searched for posts regarding support for the internal soundcard on the

Anyway, anyone got sound working on their Pismo and want to share some

Pitfalls were the JREs, which in both cases have not been readily
available (at least JDK 1.2, which tomcat requires) as a .deb. But - as
