This is another one of those newbie posts, so bear with me.
I recently switched from linuxppc to debian on one of my machines (8600/G3
upgraded w/ Voodoo 3 2000 PCI) and it's been a positive experience so far. I
am having a lot of trouble getting XF4.01 to correctly run in accelerated
mode with t

Hello all,
I'm new here and new to Debian - I like the package manager. Anyway, I
need some help with an X problem.
I've installed potato on a Mac 6500 with 96 Mmegs of Ram, booting from
BootX (OF keeps freezing) using the precompiled kernel from the potato CD.
I went and got Xpmac. It works!
Hello,
I'm new to this list, then, if I make a mistake, tell me :)
I'm trying to setup X on a Bull Estrella.

Hi Robert,
I am using libc6 2.1.3-10, that also seems the only one available
for woody, together with exim 3.16-3.1 and I am reporting no
problems so far. Where did you get libc6 2.1.94 from? The c libs
are the most delicate thing to compile by yourself, and I would
recommend to stick with

Hi!
I'm still trying to port Paul Barton-Davies' splendid quasimodo program
(http://www.quasimodo.org) to a Debian PowerPC system with a view to
making a deb package of it. I've had to install some libraries from
Woody and elsewhere, namely:
libgtkmm_1.0.3-1.1.deb
libsigc++0_1.0.1-1.deb

I'm currently reworking the mac-fdisk man page (which should be in the
install section) to cover the 'reorder to place bootstrap partition

hi *,
i installed debian on a number of powerpc macs but now i have
some serious problems on a PowerBook G3 - built year 2000. potato
kernels simply don't start, just lock bootx and the mac. i found a
yellowdog kernel that does boot but the install then stops at the
first screen of dinstal
