Hi!
Did anyone build packages for Evolution? It depends on a lot of
packages, so it's a bit more work I currently would like to have, so if
anybody already did it ...
bye, Georg

Hey all.
I am trying for the first time to install Debian Potato on a 4-way IBM
F50. I made the rescue.bin and root.bin disks, and I burned a cd with
all the other necessities (base2_2.tgz, drivers.tgz, etc). I am having
trouble right off the bat however, as I cannot seem to get the F50 to
boot

Cool, I'm rebuilding it now with t1lib-bin, t1lib-dev and t1lib1 installed.
Okay, just built it, looks much better!
Hamish, could you

Hi,
After using slackware, and redhat-ish distributions since I started Linux, I
gave a try this week-end (yeah, I know but I was on holidays) to Debian PPC on
my iMac rev. B.
I had 2 problems:
first one is that the installer can't fins the drivers.tgz if the directory has
got a space in its na

Hi!
I just installed Debian on my shining new iBook - as soon as I
(re)discovered the initrd=-option, the install went smooth.
I've only got one major outstanding issue:
I can only start X with 8-bit colourdepth, and the virtual screen is
automatically sized 800x5222 (or there about).

Hi,
I've just installed Debian on my PowerPC (Motorola machine.
Used to run NT and later AIX - no Mac).
I can't start X, though.
It says /dev/fb0 - no such device.
The device definition is there (Along with fb0current and
fb0autodetect - up to fb7) and I tried them all.
I tried fbset, but it
