I'd like to be more verbose, but in a nutshell, the situation is this:
On boot, my system seems to think it's a PPC 750/250MHz. In reality, and
as reported by Apple System Profiler under MacOS, it is only 233MHz.

I have now simplified the installation instruction of pmud.
The enclosed /etc/init.d/pmud is required in place of the
original. It all seems to work, except that it does not want
to be triggered at start-up. Permissions are ok.
Ideas are welcome. We should have our own package for it...

Hello list. After years of fearfully shying away from Debian (because of all
the "it's great if you are a guru" type statements), I jumped in with both

My goodness, it does work!
The funny thing is, my user-cal.vcf was generated by gnomecal on Debian i386,
where it opens and closes just fine. Is gnomecal file-incompatible between i386
and PPC??? That'

Hi,
are you all at the beach today? Anyway...
I have encountered the need for /etc/rc.d/init.d/functions when
installing a linuxPPC package. I have no clue of what is about and
where I can get it. If you do, please reply.
Sergio
I have just installed Netscape6 on the i686. The surprise is that ...
Netscape6 and Mozilla are ... identical! I believe netscape has more
features? It is certainly slower, and I do not like the new skin and
the fewer buttons (I loved the "house" button, which is now
dissapeared). Netscape cl
There you go. I had to erase .gnome/user-cal.vcf.
Now it works.

I would suggest the following:

the program. (try .gnome/accels/calenda
