XF86Config for a 7500?

I need to get X running but I can't find the right data to put in the XF86Config file (startx --> no valid video mode). The machine is a 7500 (604e), AppleVision750 monitor, and I'd be happy with just 1024 x 768 75Hz. I have unsuccessfully been trying to change the XF86Config.eg example file

Hi Timo, Re: ethernet the kernel I use is 2.2.10. Yesterday I managed to install the Debian base via ftp, so eth works also for Debian. The kernel is the same I used for LinuxPPC (redhat) and was patched against "http://www.terraplex.com/~dburcaw/bmac.patch";. Despite this, as you can see from

Hi Sergio, > You said you installed via CD, and that the ethernet is not > working. My ethernet works on LinuxPPC. Good! Probably a newer kernel now. I used the 2.2.6 from LinuxPPC in mid July. And tried the patch with the 2.2.10 vger kernel source but it didn't work (The MMU error [Kernel panic]
