Problem with PAM_RUSER

Hi! After upgrading my system to the current packages in potato, I have a problem with su under X: "problem establishing PAM_RUSER" when I enter "su -" in an xterm. Any idea how to solve this? This only happens in an xterm, not in a console. Quite weird ... bye, Georg

no inittab

Hi, i am trying to install debian/powerpc. I have succeeded in installing base2_2.tgz into an ext2 partition. However there is no inittab in the package. how am i supposed to boot ? Please Help ! Oliver Neukum
